Arlington National Cemetery - Realignment of Columbia Pike

Project consists of the realignment of Columbia Pike and S. Joyce Street, replacement of Southgate Road with a new segment of S. Nash Street, the expansion of Foxcroft Heights Park, and the modification of the Columbia Pike/Washington Boulevard interchange. Other work includes construction of pedestrian and bicycle facilities to increase multimodal connectivity, installation of street lighting to enhance safety, and extensive utility relocation. Work will also include site preparation for a second contract to be awarded prior to completion of the DAR project. This will include the construction of five retaining walls, one tunnel, and mass grading to allow the completion of the Southern Expansion performed by a second contractor.
