| Description | The City of Auburn, Alabama (City) is soliciting quotes from qualified suppliers for four mast arm poles. The City is reconstructing two intersections. The mast arm poles shall have a height of 27', with strength to hold one three section 12" signal head, one five section 12" signal head, and a lighted street name sign. The poles shall be designed to handle the load and wind condition of the Auburn, Alabama area as per the Alabama Department of Transportation standards. As part of the submittal, the type pole and dimension share should be included in the quote. Mast Arm Pole No. 1 shall be 42' long for southbound traffic and 54' long for westbound traffic. The pedestrian signals shall be installed for westbound and southbound pedestrian movement. The pole shall be constructed with 12' luminaire arms. Mast Arm Pole No. 2 shall have mast arms 39' long for northbound traffic and 58' long for eastbound traffic. The pole shall be constructed for pedestrian signals and luminaire arms. Mast Arm Pole No. 3 shall be 66' long for northbound traffic and 31' long for westbound traffic. The pedestrian signals shall be installed for westbound and northbound pedestrian movement. The pole shall be constructed with 12' luminaire arms. Mast Arm Pole No. 4 shall have mast arms 67' long for southbound traffic and 48' long for eastbound traffic.
