Description

Goals for Minority Participation for Each Trade 2.4% Goals for Female Participation for Each Trade 6.9% This project will address the roof deterioration on Building #1 - Sager (administration building). This project will remove and replace worn wood shakes, water and ice shield, all dam ged copper flashing, repointing and resetting the cap on the chimney. The damaged deck boards will be replaced. Once the deck and waterproofing is complete, new flashing will be installed and new cedar wood shakes will be installed to complete the roof envelope. This project will address the roof deterioration on Building #3 - Canfield (backcountry office, protection ranger division and natural resources staff). This project will remove and replace worn wood shakes, water and ice shield, all damaged copper flashing. Damaged deck boards will be replaced as needed for the continued structural integrity of the roof system. Once the deck and the waterproofing is complete, new copper flashing will be installed around the chimney and on the eaves and rakes. New cedar shakes will be installed to complete the roof envelope. Pre-proposal questions shall be submitted a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the due date and time for proposals. Submit questions only through email to: Contracting Officer, Alanna Gardner, alanna_gardner@nps.gov REPLACE ROOF BUILDINGS #1 AND #3, CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK, KLAMATH COUNTY, OREGON The National Park Service (NPS) at Crater Lake National Park (CRLA), located within Klamath County, Oregon, has a requirement for the replacement of the roofs of Buildings #1 and #3 (Sager and Canfield Buildings). The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required to successfully complete the work. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238160, with a corresponding size standard of $16.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. The Government contemplates award of a single, firm-fixed-price contract. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. See Section J Attachment 01: Specifications, and Section J Attachment 02: Drawings, for a detailed description of the requirement.
