Melching Field - Field Improvements

A. The Project consists of renovation of the existing field with the removal of the existing field, regrading the field area, installation of turf and artificial turf drainage, artificial turf, rootzone mix, irrigation, turf, and clay. B. The Contractor will be responsible for the final design and construction of the field improvements based on the requirements of the plans and specifications. C. The Contractor will have the following experience requirements: 1. The Contractor’s Field Designer shall have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in stadium field design. Experience shall include artificial turf and natural turf projects with at least 3 collegiate level facilities or greater. 2. Contractor shall have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in stadium field construction. Experience shall include artificial turf and natural turf projects with at least 3 collegiate level facilities or greater. The Contractor shall be a member of the American Sports Builder’s Association and be a Certified Field Builder.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading, Earthwork Methods.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Operation and Maintenance of Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Irrigation, Planting Irrigation, Planting, Planting Preparation, Soil Preparation, Landscape Grading.
Division 33 -	Utilities.
