Every bidder must abide by the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act,. NJSA 34:11-56.27 et seq. A. Initial Phase of Construction: Excavation, Test Pits a. Complete all work required for completion of initial work phase in: 15 calendar days. This work will include, but may not be limited to: mobilization, traffic control signage, utility mark out, and earth excavation of test pits. B. Stop Contract: for 100 calendar days’ seasonal (winter or summer) shutdown, allow for any test pit identified utility relocations, and/or allow for lead time for the furnishing/deliver of drainage and traffic signal equipment. This is an estimated time frame and no claims can be made from the successful bidder if the actual work stoppage is a longer or shorter duration, than estimated. Upon completion of the settlement and/or seasonal shutdown period the Contractor must re-commence construction within 10 calendar days. C. Second Phase of Construction: Drainage, Traffic Signal, & Concrete Work a. Complete all work required for completion of this work’s phase in: 45 calendar days.
