Description Separate Bid Packages D005404 - General Construction D005405 - Electrical D005406 - Plumbing Contract includes all work associated with a rehabilitation and replacement of the water connections and distribution system serving the campgrounds and south entrance day use areas at Watkins Glen State Park (the park). The distribution system within the park is owned by OPRHP. Work includes rehabilitation of two existing service connections and one proposed connection to the municipal system. Much of the system is seasonal, used in summer only, with 1/2 IN to 4 IN water lines. Work includes demolition of one of the two water tanks in the system and its associated pump house, construction of a new water tank and pump house, and improvements to the second existing tank. Work generally located outside heavy use areas includes, but is not limited to: Connections at Walnut Street; Water and controls from shop to tank site; New Tank site; Backup Pumphouse; New Pumphouse. Work located directly adjacent to heavy use areas includes, but is not limited to: 4" watermains along main roads; Watermain from Backup Pumphouse; and Trailer Dump Station alternate. Work located directly in heavy use areas includes, but is not limited to: Spigots and fountains; Tank Demolition; Work at stone shelter; Work at comfort stations; Work near pool; and Work in Camp Loops.
