| Description | Chesterfield County Schools and various County government departments for the inspection, recharge, hydrostatic testing, repair and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. Contractor shall inspect, maintain and recharge for a fully operable system, each portable fire extinguisher at each building location. Contractor shall adhere to the most current version of NFPA 10 “Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers”, Section #4 & #5. This shall be the criteria for Inspections, Repairs, Maintenance and Hydrostatic Testing of all portable fire extinguishers. A qualified individual shall perform the service on all extinguishers. Extinguishers shall be serviced at intervals of not more than one (1) year. |
