Description | **As of January 16,2023, project was awarded to Hot iron , awarded amount is $768,856.11.** City of Gillette Notice is Hereby Given That Separate Sealed Bids for the Furnishing of: Fir Avenue Sewer Improvements Generally Described as: This Project Installs Approximately 720 Lf of 8-inch Sanitary Sewer Main, Including 140 Lf Through a New 24-inch Casing Pipe, Along Fir Avenue Between 1st and 2nd Streets and Crossing 2nd Street to the Entrance of Dons Supermarket. The Project Also Includes 5 New Manholes, Approximately 2,460 Sy of Asphalt Pavement, Concrete Fillets, Ada Ramps, and Valve Replacements Throughout the Extent of the Project. Bids Must Be Appropriately Marked: Fir Avenue Sewer Improvements 22en15 the City of Gillette Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. This project is located along Fir Avenue between West 1 st Street and West 2 nd Street in Gillette, Wyoming. Surrounding the street are various commercial structures and side roads. The existing asphalt along Fir Avenue appeared to be in fair condition with some longitudinal cracking. No potholes or other deterioration was visible along the projected route. PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION The project includes the replacement of sewer lines running underneath Fir Avenue where current manhole depths are approximately 22 feet below the surface. Traffic data was not immediately available at the time of this report; however, we anticipate Fir Avenue traffic to consist mostly of passenger vehicles and light commercial traffic (delivery trucks, garbage trucks) |
