Description | Base Bid 1 the Milling and Resurfacing of Lake Drive From Colonial Road to Kent Place/dogwood Trail and Lily Pond Lane From Sussex Road to Franklin Lake Road. A New 'b' Inlet Will Be Constructed at the Intersection of Lake Drive and Colonial Road. New Concrete Curb Will Be Constructed at the Intersection of Lake Drive and Colonial Road to Direct Stormwater Flow Into the Inlets. Deteriorated Sections of Concrete Curb on Lily Pond Lane Will Be Replaced. Also Included Are Minor Drainage Improvements. Base Bid 2 the Milling and Resurfacing of Oldwoods Road, Ottowa Lane, Tomahawk Lane, Commanche Lane, Old Franklin Lake Road, Jenny Trail, Steves Lane, Spruce Lane, Hillside Avenue, Loch Road, Briarly Drive and Barrister Court, and the Construction of a Concrete Path at Parsons Pond Park. Also Included Are Minor Drainage Improvements. Alternate Bid the Replacement of Existing Hma Sidewalk With Concrete Sidewalk on Franklin Lake Road and High Mountain Road Between Wyandotte Drive and the High Mountain Road Elementary School. New Concrete Curb Will Be Constructed Across High Mountain Road Elementary School. Two Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons Will Be Constructed at the High Mountain Road Elementary School Crosswalk. Principal Items of Work in the Project Include: Base Bid 1 11,490 S.y. Hma Milling, 3" or Less 1,700 Ton Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5m64 Surface Course 380 L.f. 9" X 18" Concrete Vertical Curb Base Bid 2 51,640 S.y. Hma Milling, 3" or Less Further, the Successful Bidder Must Furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance Required by the Contract. In Default Thereof, Said Checks and the Amount Represented Thereby Will Be Forfeited to the Aforesaid Owner as Liquidated Damages. Bids Must Be Accompanied, in the Case of Corporations Not Chartered in New Jersey, by Proper Certificate That Such Corporation Is Authorized to Do Business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27 Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, as Amended. All Corporations and Partnerships Must Comply With Chapter 33, of the P.l. Of 1977, Regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. Each Bid Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder, Addressed to the Owner and Labeled for the Lake Drive and Lily Pond Lane Improvements and the 2022 Road Program. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Comply With All Provisions of Prevailing Wage Rates as Determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. All Bids Shall Be Irrevocable, Not Subject to Withdrawal and Shall Stand Available for a Period of Sixty (60) Days. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received and to Accept the Bid From the Lowest Responsible Bidder. |
