Ballfield Fence and Gate Installation

Purchase and installation of a new ballfield fence including a back-stop. A. Citizen’s Park (Diamond #1), 341 Citizen’s Park Drive, Belleville, IL 1. Remove and dispose of existing ballfield fence and backstop. 2. Furnish and install approximately 964 feet of new 8-foot chain-link fence (minimum 9-gauge) around entire field at existing fence location. 3. Installation of two (2) 16-foot, double swing gates located in left field. 4. Installation of two (2) 16-foot, double swing gates located in right field. 5. Furnish and install approximately 129-feet of backstop fence with minimum of 6-gauge wire and properly matched posts. Minimum height to be 20-feet. 6. Consult with Assistant Director of Public Works for final backstop design and gate locations B. Street Department Gates, 801 Royal Heights Road, Belleville, IL 1. Front Gate – Royal Heights Rd Entrance: Labor, materials, and equipment to furnish and install one (1) HSLG ¾ hp gate operator with two (2) pair photo eyes with stands, one (1) U-bolt kit, two (2) free exit loops, two (2) loop detectors, one (1) keypad, one (1) gate edge kit, one (1) gate edge transmitter, and one (1) 2-channel radio receiver. (See Exhibit B) 2. Side Gate – 38th Street Entrance: Labor, material, and equipment to furnish and install one (1) 20’x6’ cantilever gate with three (3) strands barbed-wire, one (1) U-bolt kit, two (2) free exit loops, two (2) loop detectors, one (1) keypad, one (1) gate edge kit, one (1) gate edge transmitter, and one (1) 2-channel radio receiver.
