Description | Project has been awarded to: Westmoreland Electric, Inc. for $80000 - Sub bid Maxim Construction LLC for $1192000 - GC bid This project is to upgrade the exterior of the buildings and the site at Outcrop 1 & 2. The project includes 15 buildings at Outcrop 1 and 9 buildings at Outcrop 2. Each building consists of (2) two-story apartments. The work will be bid as one project with a General & Electrical Contract. Bids will be received for General Construction, Electrical Construction Price of these plans is non-refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashiers check payable to the Fayette County Housing Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. All prospective bidders are urged to physically visit each site to see the work in question. Arrangements to visit each site can be made by calling Justin Ringer (724) 434-2403 or (724) 323-7288 Bids shall be addressed to the Fayette County Housing Authority, 624 Pittsburgh Road, Uniontown, PA. 15401. Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed and clearly marked Sealed Bid with the Project Title, and Contract Number and Date and Time for receipt of bids. The Fayette County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin or age. In addition, the Contract will be under the requirements of Executive Order #11625 relative to new goals and timetables and Section III of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and where applicable. The Fayette County Housing Authority solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation. MBEs will be afforded full consideration of their responses and will not be subjected to discrimination. Bidders will be required to comply with the Authoritys MBE Program Goal requirements where applicable. |
