Residential Yard Waste Collection Program

The proposed contract will be for the exclusive rights to provide collection and disposal services of yard waste within the City's corporate limits for an initial term of five (5) years. The City is requesting bids for collection and disposal of Yard Waste. This request for bids is non-binding and the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to contract with a single individual as provided by A.C.A. Sec. 8-6-111. The City also reserves the right to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Although the City reserves the right to withhold the acceptance of any and all bids, should a bid be accepted and a contract awarded, it shall be done within 60 days after the receipt of bids. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope and shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope specifying that it is a bid for “Contract for Yard Waste Collection Services,” the time for opening of bids, and the name of the bidder.
