Replacement of Natural Gas Distribution Facilities along LA Highway 421 and Phase 3 within the Lake Rosemound Area

For installing approximately 25,050 linear feet of 4” PE coiled pipe for the purposes of replacing the existing PVC gas distribution system mains and services along La 421 and N. Lake Rosemound Road. The project also requires the replacement of service pipe totaling approximately 800 linear feet of 1” PE pipe. Included in the new gas distribution system is the installation of 4” PE ball valves, necessary road bores and tie-ins to the existing 4” gas mains at each end of the replacement. The project also requires service taps and the transfer of approximately 21 existing customers to the new main. The contractor will be asked to trench the gas main as marked on the plans to allow installation of detector tape and separation of the tracer wire from the main.
