Street Surface Processing and Materials Furnish and Install Project - 2022

For furnishing all equipment, labor, materials, etc. necessary to complete the surface processing, furnishing, and application of materials for "Village of Arthur, Street Surface Processing and Materials Furnish and Install Project" (Non-MFT) County: Douglas, Municipality: Village of Arthur, and at that time publicly opened and read. 2. Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the Local Agency which may be obtained at the office of Arthur Village Clerk and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed "Village of Arthur, Street Surface Processing and Materials Furnish and Install Project - 2022" . 3. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the current mini-mum prevailing salaries and wages as set forth by the Illinois Depart-ment of Labor (copy included in the Contract Documents) must be paid on this project. 4. The right is reserved to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. 5. Proposal Guaranty. A proposal guaranty in the proper amount, as specified in IDOT BLRS Special Pro-vision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material Proposals, will be required. Bid bonds will be allowed as proposal guaranties. 6. Contract Bond. The successful bidder at the time of execution of the contract will be required to deposit a contract bond for the full amount of the award. Failure on the part of the contractor to deliver the material and perform the work within the time specified or to do the work specified herein will be considered just cause to forfeit his surety as provided in Article 108.10 of the Illinois Depart-ment of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Current Edition.
