2022 North Water Quality Project

Consists of constructing: Section I (ILCC BioretentionCells): Section I is located in the western portion of the Iowa Lakes Community College parking lot at 1900 North Grand Avenue. Improvements include the construction of 6800 square feet of Bioretention Cells designed to improve water quality and control storm water runoff. Said project also includes storm sewer pipe and structures, pavement removal and PCC curb & gutter. Section II (QRS Grass Swales): Section II is located in the southeastern portion of the Quality Refrigerated Services, Inc. lot at 225 West 21 st Street. Improvements include the construction of Sediment Forebays and 310 linear feet of Grass Swales designed to improve water quality and control storm water runoff.
