Description | The primary scope of the project includes demolition of existing rooms 2.423, 2.421, 2.425, 2.418, 2.419, 2.420, 2.425, 2.426, 2.428, 2.427, 2.424, 2.400, 2.401, 2.402, 2.403. Spaces adjacent to this project must remain intact. This project opens onto the recently completed SEZ expansion project Texas Football Entry Hall (2.200A) which must not be damaged in any way. The new spaces created will be (with approx SF): Greatroom (2973 SF), Platform (261 SF), Lounge (650 SF), Servery (597 SF), Storage (239 SF), IT/Storage (417 SF), Meeting (268 SF), Office (218 SF). Approximate interior total: 5623 SF. This primary portion includes refinishing the existing MNC south facade (including 'wings' on east and west ends) with modular face brick up to 10'-0" and cement plaster above that to top of exterior (please reference exterior elevations for extents). The secondary portion of the project will be adding an outdoor deck built-up on the top of the existing structure with canopy tied back into the structure below, with new electical/AV service, and includes coordinating the exterior work with a new turf install (NIC - OFOI). New exterior deck approximate total sf: 4701 SF. This secondary scope may include parts of the existing roof deck areas not covered by the new field-turf. Expectation is for separate GMP contracts for primary and secondary scopes of work, with scope break-outs into separate GMP's as needed, and as the project develops.
