Description

o Furnish and install two (2) 20-inch diameter force balanced flexible joints. (Water Pump Station) o Furnish and install pipe supports and flex joints on existing small diameter fuel pipelines. (Water Pump Station ) o Furnish and install FRP system to strength the north wall (Water Pump Station) o Furnish and install anchors on existing equipment and pumps (Water Pump Station) o Furnish and install floor grating supports. (Water Pump Station) o Furnish and install bracing at lockers. (Water Pump Station) o Furnish and install pipe supports and flex joints on existing small diameter fuel pipelines. (Lagoon Pump Station) o Furnish and install bracing of electrical panels and storage shelves. (Lagoon Pump Station) o Furnish and install pre-compressed expansion joint and modification to the existing concrete wall and walkway on the north side of building. (Lagoon Pump Station) Bidders must submit Document 00 4313 (Bond Accompanying Bid) accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check (certified without qualification and drawn on a solvent bank of the State of California or a National Bank doing business in the State of California) or completed form of Document 00 4313 of not less than 10% of the Total Bid Price based on terms contained in Document. Liquidated Damage Amounts : As liquidated damages for delay Contractor shall pay Owner two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for each Day that expires after the time specified herein for Contractor to achieve Substantial Completion of the entire Work, until achieved. Completion of Work: All work shall be completed within 400 calendar days for the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Project Contact: Project Engineer Ryan Marquez, whose email address is rmarquez@fostercity.org. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs is approximately $4,800,000 to $5,200,000. Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. Owner may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor irregularities in the Bids. Bidders must direct all questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding Documents to Owner in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such questions will be issued by written Addenda mailed, faxed, or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner as having received Bidding Documents. Owner may not answer questions received less than ten (10) business days prior to the date for opening Bids. B. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Any other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect, and Bidders shall not rely on oral statements.
