| Description | Abatement of VCT and removal of carpet squares on eight (8) resident floors at Pine Towers, a senior/disabled housing development owned and operated by the Bay City Housing Commission (BCHC), Bay City, Michigan. Installation of replacement LVT on the 2nd through 9th floor corridors will be completed by flooring contractor under sperate contract. The successful contractor for floor covering removal will be required to coordinate scheduling with yet-to-be selected installation contractor. A smooth concrete surface is the objective. Report any conditions to owner contrary to contract requirements. A sealant will need to be applied to the abated area following VCT removal to seal any residue and prevent any tracking into apartments. A floor drawing (Page 10) notes approximate square foot calculations from our last flooring replacement. We recommend interested vendors to confirm quantity with their own measurements. |
