Description

Construction of a re-refinery development in the US Golf Coast Region. The facility will have the capability of cleaning and processing over 78 million US gallons of used lubricating oils per year, providing an additional 5,6000 bpd of re-refining capacity to the North American marketplace. The facility will be built at the Oiltanking Galveston County Terminal in Texas City. TIMELINE: FEL-2 engineering packages have been completed. Final capital costs will be delivered in the next stage (FEL3). Timelines for FID and construction are yet to be determined. Further update in 2023. *KPS construction and vendor team include PCL Industrial Construction Ltd., Koch Modular Process Systems and Process Dynamics Inc. *Contractual arrangements are ongoing with Advario North America LLC (formerly known as Oiltanking North America, LLC) for the lease of the Advario Galveston County Terminal site. *Capital cost currently estimated at US$293 million.
