Description

This project shall provide for the replacement and relocation of all electrical controls into an above ground control building to be constructed on-site, and the replacement of all pumps, piping, and valves inside the existing dry pit, and the replacement of the existing submersible pump in the secondary wet well as shown on the contract plans and specifications. This contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: The Owner shall continue providing bypass pumping utilizing the Owner provided pumps and piping. The Owner shall be responsible for all required maintenance, which shall include, but is not limited to, refueling, greasing, and any other maintenance required by the manufacturer. The Contractor shall be responsible for all required relocation of the Owner provided pumps for the duration of the bypassing operation, including relocating the suction hoses for the pumps to the manhole on Primer Street adjacent to the lift station, and providing any barricading required. Remove and dispose of, or salvage for the Owner, all existing pumps, piping, valves, compressors, blower and electrical control panels and equipment contained in the dry pit. Furnish and install three (3) new non-clog vertical close coupled pumps and all appurtenances, new suction and discharge piping, valves, and fittings. Reconstruct the existing pump foundations as required to fit the proposed pump base and anchor bolts. Remove the existing sump pump in the dry pit. Furnish and install one (1) new submersible sump pump, Hydromatic model SK75M4, in the existing dry pit sump, including new discharge piping, valves, and fittings. 14. Furnish and install one (1) new Forward Curved Direct (FCD) blower, wheel dia. 11.81 inches 3000 cfm, 2 Hp as manufactured by Plastec model Number PLA30XS4P or approved equivalent. Remove the existing submersible pump from the secondary wet well and salvage for the Owner. Furnish and install one (1) new non-clog submersible pump in the secondary wet well. Furnish and install a pre fabricated concrete control building including excavation and backfill, foundation, entrance platform, electrical service, lighting, controls and instrumentation, air conditioning, door, and painting as shown on the plans. Furnish and install all electrical equipment, conduit, conductors, and level controls. Relocate the existing electrical service as shown
