Description

B-22 Pumping Station (B-22 PS) is located in a utility easement near the intersection of Compass Drive and Compass Lane within the Bay Colony neighborhood. The station pumps to an adjacent manhole approximately 200 feet to the West, which subsequently discharges to Pumping Station B-12. B-22 PS is a duplex station equipped with centrifugal pumps in a dry well configuration. The station is at the end of its useful life and is to be replaced with a prefabricated submersible package odorless station. A new HDPE 4-inch force main is being proposed to the existing Cast Iron force main.
