S208----UNRESTRICTED-- Landscaping Services at Philadelphia VA Medical Center

Provide Turf and Landscaping services for the approximately 22 acres of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center and Nursing Home common grounds to include all grounds and government owned potted plant/containers surrounding all buildings from building numbers 1 thru 26, to include all non- building areas such as roads, parking areas, entrances, courtyards and / or other natural open space in accordance with the below specifications. There are 21 pots at the main hospital, and 7 at the CLC. The pots are 3 feet x 3 feet x 2 feet. There is approximately 14,275square feet of mulching beds at the main hospital, and 4,229 square feet of mulching beds at the CLC, requiring 3” to 4” of mulch (depends on mulch used). Approximately 2,302 square feet of planting beds at the main hospital and 4,229 square feet of planting beds at the CLC (the mulch for all these plant beds are above in the mulch square footage.) There are 14 trees that have 16 square feet of planting & mulching beds around them. Note: The interior of parking garages is the responsibility of the government, not the contractor.
