This work shall consist of variable depth milling of an existing bituminous pavement surface, with specified equipment, to the depth indicated. The exact locations, limits and depths of the areas to be milled are at the discretion of the Engineer. This work includes cutting a vertical line in the existing bituminous surface at the ends of the milled areas; removal and disposal of all milled material; cleaning the areas to be milled with brooms, mechanical sweepers or vacuums immediately before and after completion of milling operations in a manner satisfactory to the Engineer and all necessary appurtenant work. The project involves the rehabilitation of a storm-water management basin, including excavation and removal of vegetation and sediment, soil exchange, and restoration of disturbed areas.
