National School District (NSD) has ten school sites, one Preschool Program Center, and one District Office located throughout National City, California. NSD invites interested parties (Vendors) to submit a proposal for RFP #22-23-239 Internal ConnectionsHardware Upgrades at Various Sites. NSD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities therein. All existing wiring (Cat6/fiber) will be utilized where applicable. To be included in the cost of Installation in Section 6.0 - Installation, mounting and wiring/cable management of equipment - Any Engineering and Configuration of equipment to match current network environment - Setup of devices in existing or proposed management solution - Removal, palletization, documentation and delivery of old equipment to a designated central location for the purposes of E-Waste - Testing of connections to ensure full functionality across all systems upon completion of hardware installations. - Training on any proposed new systems not already in use by the district - Documentation for the purpose of E-rate and asset management inventory Minimum device requirements Edge Switches - Compatible with Cambium XMS-C management system - Compatible with distribution and core switching (Cisco) or any proposed alternatives -Provides up to 9 POE ports per IDF stack for wireless AP's (Cambium XV3-8's) - Supports policy-based automation -Rack mountable Distribution Switches - Compatible with all necessary network equipment - Upgradable to support future growth from site to district fiber connections (I.E. currently 1GB from sites to District office to 2GB) - Rack mountable Core Switches - Compatible with all necessary network equipment - Rack mountable Uninterruptible Power Supplies - Ability to support any edge or Distribution switches with POE enabled for wireless AP's in MDF/IDF cabinetry - Built in Network management or upgradable slot for Network management upgrades - Rack mountable
