Municipal Lighting Replacement Services

To retrofit existing streetlights with new LED retrofit kits or install completely new light fixtures. These fixtures will include LED cobra head style fixtures, decorative retrofit kit installation, and complete decorative head replacement at various locations throughout the City of Salisbury. 1. Install an estimated two hundred fifty nine (259) LED cobra head streetlight fixtures. Fixtures shall be provided by the City 2. Install three hundred twenty one (321) LED decorative light retrofit kits provided by the City. 3. Install approximately twenty-five (25) Decorative LED light fixtures. Fixtures shall be provided by the City 4. Successful Vendor shall provide all labor, equipment and miscellaneous materials such as but not limited to qualified licensed employees, bucket trucks, misc tools, wire, wire nuts, electrical tape, or any other needed materials to complete the change out of the old light components. Activation of the light shall be inclusive of all work. 5. Successful vendor is responsible for providing maintenance of traffic at all work locations and adherence to all applicable codes. The cost for any traffic control necessary shall be incidental to the prices bid. 6. All work includes the pickup and transportation of the light assemblies to be installed. Light assemblies will be stored at 500 Mack Avenue, Salisbury MD 21801. Any assemblies picked up are the sole responsibility of the Successful Vendor while in their possession. Disposal is the responsibility of the Successful Vendor. The Successful vendor has the option to utilize the dumpsters at the Field Operations location. Only excess material from City work may be disposed at this location
