Naval Weapons Station Earle Solid Waste Services

Requirement: NWSE intends to contract for Solid Waste Management on its locations in Leonardo and Colts Neck, New Jersey. The contractor will be required to properly collect and dispose of non-hazardous solid waste including administrative office waste, industrial operations waste, bulky items, recyclable material, green waste, rubbish and construction debris, and foreign source garbage received from ships. There are approximately 38 containers. These services will support a variety of administrative, industrial, recreation type facilities as well as ships berthed at NWSE and are consistent with the FAR 37.101 definition of service contracts. All work shall be performed in accordance with the NAVFAC Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan, all Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements for the disposal of solid waste and in compliance with U.S. Customs and the Department of Agriculture for the collection, transportation and disposal of foreign waste. NWSE seeks to gather information about sources able to meet this requirement.
