Description

Contract 1A-1 - County Road J / Territorial Road Reconstruction Project - The proposed project will include reconstruction of the County Road J / Territorial Road within the Village of Clyman limit including but not limited to pulverizing of the 16,000sq yds of existing pavement, 310 ft of storm sewer replacement, storm inlets, sidewalk replacement, paving, shouldering, installation of erosion control, install traffic control, and restoration. - Contract 1A-2 - Morgan Street Watermain and Road Reconstruction Project - The proposed project will include reconstruction of the Morgan Street and watermain replacement including but not limited to pulverizing of the 2,200sq yd of existing pavement, 850ft of watermain replacement, hydrant replacement, paving, shouldering install erosion control, install traffic control, and restoration. - Contract 1B - Circle View Street Morgan Street Reconstruction Project - The proposed project will include reconstruction of the Circle View Street, Circleview Circle and North Street including but not limited to pulverizing of the 4,300sq yd of existing pavement, paving, shouldering, install erosion control, install traffic control, and restoration. - Contract 1C - County Road J Reconstruction Project - The proposed project will include reconstruction of the County Road J within the Town of Clyman limit including but not limited to pulverizing of the 6,500sq yd existing pavement, paving, shouldering, install erosion control, install traffic control, and restoration. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner. This project will be funded in part by funds from the Community Development Block Grant program, Wisconsin DNR Safe Drinking Water Loan Program, and the America Rescue Plan Act. The 2022 Street & Utility Rehabilitation Project is a Municipal Street Improvement Program (MSILT) project. The MSILT is a component of the Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP). All contract work for this project shall be subject to Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) and federal wage determinations. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this contract, Section 3 and E.O. 11246. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) are encouraged to submit bid proposals. Contracted work may require fulfillment of Buy America guidelines and will include the "Use of American Iron and Steel" provision. Bid Proposals may be denied if the requirements of this section are not met, and waivers are required. Published by the authority of the Village of Clyman Board.
