Description | The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of but is not limited to demolition and removal of existing CMP Pipe storm drain pipe system including all concrete structures, wood fencing, trees, shrubs, etc. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: 1. Demolition and removal of existing 30”-36” CMP Pipe storm drain pipe system . 2. Install complete new 30” & 36” HDPE pipes and tie-in to existing structures, including stone bedding and backfill up to spring elevation with # 57 stone. 3. Installation of sod/mulch including eroision control. 4. Install complete fencing & cleanup including re-grout exsisting structures. 5. The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. 6. All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. 7. The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation shall govern the construction of this project. 8. Construction to be limited to areas indicated on the drawing and as designated by the Engineer or inside existing easements. 8. Off-site areas or areas outside the easements shall only be encroached by written permission or a signed right-of-way entry from the property owner. This provision applies to both personnel and equipment. 9. All areas disturbed or damaged by the contractor outside the construction easement shall be repaired by the contractor at their own expense. |
