Construction Management

Construction Management: Assist PennDOT to evaluate capital projects; perform construction management and other capital project oversight. Projects include but shall not be limited to: rail/transit station construction and upgrades; trails and other pedestrian facilities; transit administrative, storage, maintenance, and bus wash buildings; parking lots; and any other transit or related transportation construction activity. Oversight/Technical Support: Provide administrative support, inspection, project oversight, and other technical support and services for various transportation projects and programs on an as-needed basis. Process Engineering: Analyze processes to achieve improved productivity and efficiency. Professional Publications: Provide all products in a format that can be used for professional printing. This would be a digital format ready for professional printing from which PennDOT may later expand upon, and may post on a website. The format used must be compatible with PennDOT’s current format for printing and must be approved by PennDOT. Currently PennDOT utilizes QuarkXxpress and In Design (Adobe). Providing a PDF(s) may be sufficient based on the project. Any graphics/photos must be separated from the text description to facilitate enlargement or reduction of the picture and must be set-up for JPEG format.
