Description | The City of Fayetteville is accepting statements of qualifications from construction management firms properly licensed to provide construction management / general contractor (CM/GC) services as a construction management at risk (CMAR) / guaranteed maximum (GMP) project for the Midtown Corridor Project. The project includes storm drainage, trail, sidewalks, enhanced crosswalks, turn lanes, new traffic signals, street lighting and landscaping. The project will include up to three separate phases to include the following: (1) Deane Street - Fire Department to Garland Ave; (2) Sycamore Street from Garland Ave. to the Razorback Greenway and (3) Poplar Street from Razorback Greenway to N. Woodland Avenue Professional Services required include: 1. Ensure all funds are spent in accordance with State of Arkansas Procurement laws 2. Guaranteed maximum price construction 3. Estimating 4. Sub-contractor bidding 5. Project and change order pricing 6. Schedule control 7. Management of demolition and reconstruction 8. Cost reduction and control 9. Project coordination with the design engineer and the City of Fayetteville. 10. Project close out 11. Statements of qualification submitted shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities therein, and all Proposers shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Fayetteville for any damage or claim brought by any Proposer because of such rejections, nor shall the Proposers seek any recourse of any kind against the City of Fayetteville because of such rejections.
