Fire Alarm Panel Networking

A. Work of the Project includes: 1. Interconnection of the fire alarm panels in 22 buildings in the following locations, along with miscellaneous mounting, fiber optic and wiring modifications to suit the interconnections for a fully operational system. a. Advance Technology Center (ATeC) b. Automotive Technology (Auto) c. Bankier Library (LIB) d. Brookdale Admin Center (2 joining buildings) (BAC/ASB) e. Center for Counseling Admissions & Registration (CAR) f. Central Utility Plant (CUP) (Two panels) g. Children’s Learning Center (CLC) h. Center for Visual Arts (CVA) i. Gorman Hall (GOR) j. Larrison Hall (LAH) k. Main Academic Center – Central (MAC) l. Main Academic Center – North (MAN) m. Main Academic Center – South (MAS) n. Maintenance Building (MNT) o. Performing Art Center (PAC) p. Wilbur Ray Police Station (POL) q. Print Shop (PS) r. Receiving & Mail Center (RMC) s. Robert Collins Arena (RCA)& Fitness Center (FIT) t. Warner Student Life Center (SLC) 2. Campus fiber optic trunk lines and utility installation will be performed by others. These connections will include installation of raceway to the fire alarm panels and fiber up to the fiber-optic communications interface at each fire alarm panel. All site work and in-ground utility work will be performed by others. 3. Construction under this contract shall include installation of fiber-optic communications interface along with all necessary programming within each building to the fire alarm panel or remote annunciator as applicable.
