Description

Qualified engineering consulting firms (Applicant) to provide corrosion control engineering services for the water main capital replacement program. This RFP is not for a specific project; rather, this RFP is for on-call services for projects after successful Applicants have been awarded a contract. The purpose of the corrosion control engineering services contracts is to provide professional engineering services to the Department to supplement its in-house engineering staff and provide expertise when and where needed. This RFP is not for a specific project, but for engineering services required by the Department at various project sites throughout the City. The corrosion control engineering contracts are intended to provide corrosion engineering expertise to the Department in its ongoing corrosion control program which addresses soil and stray current corrosion that adversely impacts the City’s potable water transmission and distribution systems.
