Department of Public Works HVAC and Boiler Replacement Project

The successful Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor and incidentals to perform the following work: Disassemble, remove and dispose of existing Weil McLain boiler along with 2.5” air separator and burner assembly. Disassemble, remove and dispose of limited supply and return piping, natural gas piping, and flue vent piping along with any other demolition necessary to complete the project. Flush system thoroughly. Furnish and install (1) High efficiency Navien Boiler NFB-200 (or comparable) to replace the existing Weil McLain unit along with supply and return piping, natural gas piping, outside air vent piping for combustion air intake using existing chimney , boiler flue vent piping, isolation ball valves, and hydraulic separator with magnet for contaminate removal. Furnish and install new pipe insulation for all piping installed under the project. Furnish and install (1) five ton Samsung DVM S ECOVRF heat pump system (or comparable), (3) 12,000 BTU wall mount Samsung Windfree 2.0 wall units (or comparable) along with necessary refrigerant line sets and Y branches for each unit, and (3) 9,000 BTU wallmount Samsung Windfree 2.0 wall units (or comparable) along with necessary refrigerant line sets and Y branches for each unit.
