Additional Cameras and Door Access for Existing Genetec System at Joliet Police Department

The City of Joliet Police Department has an end of life Cisco-based Video system at both Joliet Police Stations (both main and west branch). The Police Department would like to migrate this function over to an existing Genetec system. The City of Joliet is upgrading existing systems and expanding coverage to spaces where security vulnerabilities exist. The second part of this project is to install door strikes on 23 doors. The project will also include overall system maintenance and training, and system support. The City of Joliet Police Department is looking to install 76 cameras in the Main PD and West PD locations. In order to maintain continuity, the City of Joliet only wishes to have the proposal include Axis brand cameras only. Some of the locations will have existing legacy cameras. If so, as a part of this project, the legacy cameras need to be taken down and destroyed by the awarded vendor. Additionally, if there is any existing wiring, it should also be removed by the awarded vendor as a part of this project.
