Design Roadway Improvements

The work will consist of providing conceptual, pre-design and design services (Final PS&E) for this roadway reconstruction project. This project will also include a traffic signal design for the intersection at 1100 East / 1700 South which is nearby but not within the road reconstruction limits. That signal is currently a span-wire configuration, and the consultant should develop a design based on current standards for pole/mast-arm configuration with new signal cabinet, power service, etc. The project will also include a hydrology and drainage study to evaluate existing flow patterns of the site, and a report evaluating proposed / anticipated impacts to flows and solutions, in close coordination with SL County Flood Control. A geotechnical study will also be prepared to evaluate the local soil conditions, and it will include any measures / recommendations to mitigate any adverse soil conditions and present proposed, road structural section alternatives.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
