Schoenherr Towers Generator Replacement

The project scope of work shall include the work indicated within the contract documents including the plans and specifications and shall include the following: 1. Demolition a. Removal and disposal of existing 150kw diesel fueled generator. b. Removal and disposal of existing shrubs and retaining wall to facilitate new generator pad. c. Removal and disposal of existing concrete pavement as necessary for to facilitate the installation of new generator, switchgear and automatic transfer switch and associated feeder and branch conduit installation. d. Removal and disposal of existing automatic transfer switch and associated conduit and wiring. e. Removal and disposal of existing fire pump controller associated conduit and wiring. 2. New Work a. Purchase and installation new generator and automatic transfer switch and associated feeders, branch circuits and controls b. Purchase and installation of main distribution panel, fire pump disconnects and associated feeders. c. Provide and install temporary generator and associated cabling to provide power to the entire building during the re-work of the existing electrical service. d. Installation of new surge protection devices on existing equipment as indicated. e. Purchase and installation of new fire pump controller. f. Fire alarm modifications as necessary to facilitate the fire pump controller and to monitor the new generator. g. Concrete equipment pads. h. Concrete pavement. i. Site restoration. j. Coordination with local electrical and gas utilities companies for utility shutdowns and metering requirements. k. Testing of generator and associated equipment and the fire pump for the purpose of verifying proper operation and as required for the purpose of obtaining approval from the authority having jurisdiction.
