Riverside Tank Demolition Town of Stillwater

Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on the above terms, do so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids for the Work and do not authorize or confer a license for any other use. Additional copies of the Bidding Documents may be purchased at the following non-refundable prices: Additional complete set, per set $100.00 Individual Drawings, per pages $5.00 ($5.00 min.) Individual Pages of Manual, per page $0.14 ($5.00 min.) Town of Stillwater, Demolition of 200,000 gallon Riverside Water Storage Tank. Work shall include, but is not limited to, demolition of the welded streel water storage tank, removal of tank material from the site, environmental controls and tank foundation removal as an add alternate. All restoration work will be performed by the Town. The Project shall be completed on or before November 15, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment on or before November 30, 2022. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids will be received on an itemized unit price basis, with alternates. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bids actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bid may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time, and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. There will not be a Pre-bid Conference. The Town of Stillwater reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
