South Cross Bayou Digester Gas Flowmeter Installation

Work involves providing and testing four (4) thermal dispersion insertion type gas mass flow meters on existing active digester gas piping with associated valves, electrical, and instrumentation work at the South Cross Bayou Advanced Water Reclamation Facility (SCBAWRF). Two of the flow meters are replacements for existing gas meters serving the pelletizer facility and the waste gas flare. The remaining two meters will monitor output from each of the digesters individually. Also, work includes modifying the catwalk to allow for maintenance access to meters on gas lines near the sludge/gas storage tank and providing two (2) in-line detonation arresters between the digester and gas/sludge holding tank with bypass piping, valves, two (2) jib cranes, and eight (8) sampling ports. Gas sampling via the new sampling ports shall be provided after the new flow meters are operational.
