Emergency Well Pump/Motor Assembly Removal and Installation

Emergency well pump and motor assembly removal and installation at W-04 #3 (The Pottery) located at 6702 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188. The purpose ofthe work is to remove the existing assembly (pump, motor, drop pipe, motor wires, and related appurtenances), in order to replace the failed pump and motor. Phase I will include the removal of the existing assembly, well video and submittal submissions. Phase II will include the installation of the new assembly, disinfection and sampling. he Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, and labor for the assembly removal and installation. The assembly includes the following; pump, motor, 4"- inch threaded drop pipe, 1" - inch threaded transducer tube, bronze check valve, motor cables, and related appurtenances. The Contractor shall also perform any required welding, grinding, thread cleaning, cutting and wire splicing required for the removal and installation work described below complete and in place.
