Description | As of January 11, 2023, a design firm has not been selected as of yet. Bidding is estimated to take place in the 2024 fiscal year. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The South Dakota Department of the Military, on behalf of the South Dakota Army National Guard, Construction and Facilities Management Office, is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional Architectural and Engineering design services for the design of Construct Motor Vehicle Storage Building- Aberdeen MVSC, CFMO #466315, located at 700 South Melgaard Road, Aberdeen, South Dakota 57401. This project will involve constructing a new motor vehicle storage building at the Aberdeen MVSC. A 11,000 SF structure will be constructed with compacted gravel/hardened floor, metal siding, metal roof, overhead doors and openers, service doors, gutter system and adequate electrical power and lighting. The total budget for the project is $409,970, but be advised that this number is subject to change. Firms desiring to be considered for providing professional services for this project should send a Statement of Interest that outlines their qualifications and experience for this project. Statements of Interest should include: Specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence as demonstrated by the proposed approach and methodology to meet the project requirements (20%); Resources available to perform the work, including any specialized services, within the specified time limits for the project (20%); Record of past performance, including price and cost data from previous projects, quality of work, ability to meet schedules, cost control, and contract administration (10%); Availability to the project locale (20%); Familiarity with the project locale (10%); Proposed project management techniques (10%); Ability and proven history in handling special project constraints (10%). A technical review committee will select the firm based on the criteria shown.
