Rockinghorse Filing 1 Drop Structure Replacement Project

The Project Site is located within Rocking Horse Subdivision Filing No. 1, located in a portion of the west one-half of Section 6, Township 6 South, Range 65 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, City of Aurora, Douglas County Colorado. General project area boundaries include E Minnow Drive to the south and east, and E Eads Dr to the west. The project will include replacement of an existing grouted boulder drop structure. The Work to be bid generally includes the following construction activities: • Site Preparation / Trail Traffic and Erosion Control and Stormwater bypass control • Demolition of the existing grouted boulder drop structure • Construction of a replacement sculpted concrete drop structure • Removal of debris and vegetation from 8 existing grouted boulder stilling basins upstream of the proposed drop structure.
