Description | The work will consist of the installation of two new 8 cut-in valve and line-stop combinations outside of the intersection of Conestoga Ave. (SR-0010) and Horseshoe Pike (SR-0322). The installation will require water service shut down in the intersection during the time of construction. Street cutting and pavement restoration will be required for the proposed work. Contractor should adhere to the PennDOT Permit Conditions available on online. Due to these conditions' night work will be necessary. Bidders must conform to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications referenced in the bid package. No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Honey Brook Borough Water Authority. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, waiving any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Authority. All Requests for Information shall be submitted electronically by 2:00 pm on March 28, 2023, to allow time to post an addendum on electronically. |
