Description

The project includes replacement of the water main within the alley east of Main Street from Cleveland Street to the Railroad. From the alley, water main will run west to the west side of IL-89 along the railroad. Water main will cross the railroad on the east side of IL-89 and head north to tie into the existing water main. Approximately 2,800 linear feet of 8” water main will be installed. The project includes jacking and boring of steel casings under IL-89 and under the railroad. The alley will be fully resurfaced with Hot Mix Asphalt and sewers will be replaced where necessary to meet IEPA requirements.
