Description

Site Directions: Approximately 1.2 miles from the N. Steptoe Street along Columbia Park Trail where the irrigation canal crosses under the road. Access to the site is through a locked gate on the canal road north of Columbia Park Trail. Work to be performed includes: demolition of existing site utilities including a below grade, 48-inch diamter steel discharge manifold and associated piping; conduit and conductor installation; interior and exterior structural improvements to the pump station; mechanical piping improvements inside the pump station; cathodic protection; and installation of a 54-inch diameter below grade discharge manifold and associated piping. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5 percent of the amount of such bid proposal. Make checks payable to the BMID. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Badger Mountain Irrigation District. Badger Mountain Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 calendar days.
