Work includes the removal of the existing bridge and installation of a new bridge on a slightly modified alignment with an adjacent on-site one-lane temporary bridge to service traffic during construction Proposed project involves the following: 1) Installation of a temporary single-lane detour adjacently upstream of the existing bridge 2) Removal of a 61’ span by 31’-4” composite concrete deck steel bridge superstructure 3) Construction of new abutments and wingwalls with partial removal of existing substructures 4) Construction of a new 100’ span by 33’-4” composite concrete deck on galvanized steel plate girder bridge superstructure 5) Removal and regrading of the areas disturbed by the temporary single lane detour
