Description | **As of January 6, ,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Roofing Replacement at Holgate Development A. The following is a typical sequence of work that, at a minimum, is required to be performed by the Asbestos Contractor for asbestos abatement work in the work area. The Asbestos Contractor shall adhere to the Scope of Work outlined below and in the Project Drawings, as well as any additional requirements stated herein, and/or within Related Documents. Please refer to Paragraph 1.01 E. 7. of the Design for the definition of "Asbestos Project Monitor." 1. Furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, services, insurance, permits, vehicles, and submittals required for all work included in this project design. 2. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all requirements set forth in this project design. 3. Asbestos Contractor shall follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the United States. 4. Asbestos Contractor shall post all required signage. 5. Asbestos Contractor shall secure the work area from unauthorized access. 6. Asbestos Contractor will clean and remove all movable objects from the work area. 7. Work area preparation, including pre-cleaning, installation of critical barriers and polyethylene sheeting, construction of decontamination facilities, work area enclosures, sealing, isolation, and other activities as provided by the Asbestos Project Monitor, Asbestos Consultant, and/or Architect/Engineer. 8. Asbestos Contractor shall seal all rooms / protect all other areas that do not contain ACM (as may be applicable) with two layers of 6 mil polyethylene sheeting sealed airtight with duct tape Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. |
