Description

As of August 29, 2022. Project has been awarded to Contract No. 1 WYElectric LLC $168,118.00 and Contract No. 2 Pumping Solutions, Inc. $208,916.00. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE :8/8/2022 5:00 PM Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Eastern York County Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. Contract No. 1 - General Contractor o Demolition of existing pump station - remove existing S&L suction lift pumps and base, remove existing fillets, and cut top 6" off wet well o Remove existing mixer components and floats and return to Owner; everything else Contractor shall be responsible to dispose of o Bypass pumping - there's only one (1) upstream MH and one (1) inlet into wet well, Contractor shall install the permanent bypass pumping connection to FM; See Section 8, 01505 - Bypass Pumping. o Contractor responsible for constructing reinforced concrete pad and offloading, storing (as necessary), and setting pre-packaged station o Owner has pre-purchased services from Envirep for the startup of the GR station; Contractor shall coordinate timing and scheduling with Envirep when the time comes. Owner won't be liable if Envirep has to come back or do additional work because of GC issues. o Contractor asked a question about the volume of the sewage in the Force Main. CSD noted that this will be addressed in a future addendum. o Contract No. 2 - Electrical Contractor o Electrical work to connect new pump station - wiring from existing generator to new dialer, furnished with the station and hooked up by Envirep.
