| Description | The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit bids from responsive and responsible bidders for slope mowing services. The work consists of cyclical right-of-way mowing and trimming services of approximately 556 acres of canal right of ways and 346 access gates annually, in an estimated four (4) mowing cycles of canal embankments of various widths. This includes, but is not limited to, canal embankments, grassed levees, berms, access roads of various widths, and around irrigation pipes, and water control structures, using conventional high production, large and small machine mowing and trimming equipment within the Miami Field Station service area. A minimum of two years of verifiable experience is required in order to be deemed responsible to this RFB. The contract(s) resulting from this solicitation will be for a three-year period with two, 1-year renewal options. |
