Description

This project, located in Anne Arundel County, is a resurfacing and safety improvement project along MD 2 (Solomons Island Road) from South River Bridge to MD 214 (Central Avenue), for a total project length of approximately 1.65 miles. The work will consist of the following: (a) Upgrade existing sidewalk ramps and residential/commercial entrances to current ADA standards; (b) Install detectable warning surfaces; (c) Placing topsoil and turfgrass sod; (d) Cleaning existing storm drain pipes and inlets; (e) Upgrade existing traffic barrier; (f) Installation of signing, crosswalks, and pavement markings; (g) Full and partial depth pavement patching; (h) Fine milling and resurfacing existing pavement; (i) Maintenance of Traffic.
