Description | **As of March 1st, 2023, no bids were received for the project. * Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of the contractor's license and bidder's bond in a sum equal to 5 percent of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the Principal's bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Owner. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the Bid. No Bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with these requirements; any deficient Bid submitted shall be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Final completion of the project (Base Bid) must be completed not later than December 15th, 2023. All bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such work. After bid opening the Owner will return the bid security of all except the three lowest responsible Bidders. When the Contract is awarded, the remaining unsuccessful Bidder's Bonds will be returned. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to hold the three low bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid Opening to complete financial arrangements. Bidder's will be required to submit a valid email address for use in distributing bid document addenda and other communication during the bidding phase of the project. The Project consists of the construction of the following: 1. Replacing the HVAC, Electrical, and Lighting Systems in the building. 2. Finishing spaces affected by MEP upgrades. 3. Associated sitework as indicated on the drawings. |
